Outside alcohol is permitted with a corking or tapping fee.
The Art Center provides the following with the cost of rental:
- Event security
- Onsite event coordinator
- Select tables, chairs and linens (clients may need to rent extra for large events).
- Setup & Cleanup
- Sound system with iPod hook-up and wireless microphone
The Art Center also offers Docent-led tours of the facility for $50 per docent.
The Art Center may be rented year-round, but is only available for evening events.
Renters should book the space six months to one year in advance. The
Art Center will put a hold on a date until there is another inquiry on the same date.
All food must be purchased through one of the Art Center's exclusive caterers: Baru 66, Gateway Market Catering, The Tangerine Food Company, or Taste! To Go Catering & Events.
The Art Center is not available for ceremonies.
Costs & Fees
The lobby, courtyard and galleries may be rented for $4,000, but the Art Center also rents most spaces individually starting at $1,500. Reduced prices are available for Contributor Members of the Art Center.
No decor can be hung from the walls or ceilings. All florals must be from a certified florist. Candles are only permitted in the courtyard.
Reduced pricing is available for Contributor Members of the Art Center ($110 annually).
Duration of Rental
Rental time begins at 5pm and ends at 12am. All guests must be out of the building by midnight.
Renters are required to purchase event insurance.
Miscellaneous Rules & Information
The Art Center allows sparkler exits as long as they are a certain distance from the front door.
Outdoor events or cocktail hours may be held in the courtyard.
Renters must remove all belongings by 12am.
Event security is provided by The Art Center.
Setup & Cleanup
Renters can access the Art Center to decorate and set up after 2pm the day of the wedding. Consideration will be made for earlier in the day on a case by case basis. Removal of all personal items and decor must be completed
