World Food Prize Hall of Laureates provides the following with the cost of rental:
- Access to all public spaces in the Hall of Laureates.
- Setup & Cleanup
- Tables & chairs
- Event Security
- Usage of private gardens
All renters must submit a refundable damage deposit of half the rental fee 30 days before the event. Clients should book The VENUE XX months prior to their event. VENUE will hold date for XX days.
All food must be purchased through one of the venue's exclusive caterers: Des Moines Marriot Downtown, Hy-Vee Windsor Catering, or The Des Moines Embassy Club.
There are indoor and outdoor options for ceremonies at Hall of Laureates.
Costs & Fees
The Hall of Laureates costs $6,750 to rent and includes the entire facility. Discounted rates are available for off-season events.
Attaching items to the floor, walls, ceilings or banisters is strictly prohibited. All decor must be free standing.

Duration of Rental
Rental at The Hall of Laureates begins at 1pm, and all guests must be gone by midnight. Renters can stay until 1am to clean-up and load decor.
Event insurance is required for all renters, and can be purchased for $208 through the venue's agency. Hall of Laureates also requires that all vendors supply a certificate of insurance as well.
Miscellaneous Rules & Information
Renters must rent a dance floor from Event Decorators of Iowa if there will be dancing at their event.
Hall of Laureates has a large garden area that is suitable for outdoor cocktail hours..
Event security is provided by Hall of Laureates.
Setup & Cleanup
Clients may access the World Food Prize Hall of Laureates at 1:00pm on the day of their event, and renters must have their decor and personal items removed by 1am. Hall of Laureates will take care of all cleaning and tear-down.
